It is built by Tenzing Digital, an AI and product studio in Ireland.
Who is StaffSteady for?

How much does StaffSteady cost?
Pricing is per site, per month, with every feature included and no charge per employee, so adding a seasonal team member does not change the bill. A single-site venue can start a 14-day free trial with no card and be running the same day; a group with more than one site books a demo and is quoted for the sites it actually runs.
Does StaffSteady handle Irish employment law?
The rules are in the rota, not in a policy document. Break entitlements follow the Organisation of Working Time Act (15 minutes for a shift of four and a half to six hours, 30 minutes over six), the planner warns when a roster breaches the 11-hour daily rest or the 24-hour weekly rest, Irish bank holidays including Easter are worked out for you, and statutory sick days are counted against the Sick Leave Act 2022 entitlement. It warns rather than blocks, so the manager always has the final say.
Can staff swap shifts themselves?
Yes. Staff post a shift for anyone eligible to take, give one away, or swap with a named colleague, all from their phone. A swap between two people with equal weekly hours goes through instantly; anything else waits for a manager, or every swap can be set to need approval.
Can I issue and sign employment contracts in StaffSteady?
Yes. Upload your standard contract once and issue it to one person or a whole team. Each person's job title, pay, hours, start date and place of work are written into a statement of core terms inside the document, as the Terms of Employment (Information) Act requires. The employee signs on their phone by drawing or typing, the employer counter-signs, and a certificate of completion records the evidence. No third-party e-signature service is involved.
Is StaffSteady GDPR compliant?
Sensitive fields such as PPS numbers and pay are encrypted at rest. Every view and change of an employee record is written to an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted. An employee can export everything held on them, and a record can be erased while the employment history you are legally required to keep is retained.
Does StaffSteady work across more than one site?
Yes. A group runs every venue from one login, staff can be rostered at more than one site, and shifts can be swapped between venues where both people are cleared to work there. Managers approve requests for any site in the company.
Is there a StaffSteady app?
StaffSteady is an installable web app. Staff add it to their phone's home screen from the browser, with no app store download, and see their shifts, swaps, availability and time off there.
